Renato is the founder of SAKHRA an advisory business focussed on special situations debt and equity investments as well as distressed debt in Brazil and Italy.

He has more than twenty years of corporate finance experience, mainly focused on capital markets and structured financings in Europe and Brazil.

Before founding SAKHRA, at the end of 2018, Renato was a Managing Director at Deutsche Bank where he held several management roles in Europe (London and Milan) and Brazil in the corporate and investment bank division and where last served as the CEO of Deutsche Bank Brazil. Renato was previously at Merrill Lynch covering Southern European Clients mainly focusing on debt financings in the loan and bond capital markets.

Renato also acts regularly as an angel investor and advisor in early stage digital businesses in both Brazil and Europe where he leverages his network and financial industry skills in supporting new ventures in the fintech space.
